Photo taken at an angle to avoid glare and to show the embossing.
I've been asked to take my cards along to the Women's Evening Fellowship at church this coming Friday (as an extension of my selling to raise money for Tearfund), so I need to make some more Easter cards, although I don't know whether people will have bought all their's by then.
The papers are Papermania and the 'shaker' chick is Poundland. I know this is a 'busy' card, but I know that there are some people who like to buy this kind of card, particularly if sending to a family with children. My stock prior to this mainly consists of quite simple cards with a cross on.
As there are chicks on this card, I'm linking for DCM this week: bunnies and chicks (I'll be back later with bunnies!).
I decided to make an oriental card, which fits the challenge on Mixed Media Monday this week.
Most of the papers are DCWV Far East, except the more turquoise square which was a card blank from PDA that I cut up. The circles were cut on my cricut.
I enjoyed making this card, but can't believe how long it took me - it looks such a simple card, but by the time I'd cut the circles and worked it all out ... (I did change my mind on papers a few times).
As quite a few people have commented on the 'coins', I thought I'd add this to confirm that, yes, they really are coins.
