Card with lace

I've had this piece of very wide lace for as long as I can remember and I thought it was about time I did something with it:

I wrapped a piece of the lace around a square offcut of silver mirror card and then mounted on to a piece of Basic Grey cappella paper. The triangles in the corners and the middle of the flowers were cut from Basic Grey green at heart paper, the larger flowers were cut from some offcuts - the flowers being cut with nestabilities through my cuttlebug.

Colours are for Color throwdown 207 (I'm disappointed that the lace doesn't look so strong a peach colour as it does in real life - it really is a deeper, richer colour peach - it must be 'operator error' with my new camera):

I then added a fair number of bright pink gems.

This is also for:

Pixie's crafty snippets 35
Charisma cardz 33: lace
Come and get it: show us your flowers
Cupcake craft 207: flowers
Love to create 30: hand made flowers
The house that stamps built DCC829: flowers challenge
Basic grey 75: anything goes
Tuesday throwdown 113: color crazy - colours I wouldn't usually think of using together
Penny's 91: sparkle and shine
