WOYWW 424

Here are my pictures for WOYWW 424. If you don't know what this is all about, please click on the link and have a look and join in the fun by showing what's on your workdesk and then having a look at the links to see everyone else's.

Last week I said that I'm hoping very soon to be able to show the rest of my craft room with everything sorted and labelled. Oh dear .... that's a bit of a joke because I haven't got much further with it. I have done some more sorting, but there's not really much to show for it. It was Wimbledon in the UK for the last two weeks and the finals particularly took up my time

To the left of where I sit are the normal essentials ... a USB lamp (really good for evening cardmaking when colours can look different without enough light), the fan, kitchen roll etc. And then there are some cards made with a magazine freebie - still quite a lot of the kit left, as you can see. Not real crafting, but the opportunity to make a few very quick cards that might bring in some money for charity.

On the right are some bits and pieces bought yesterday at The Works and a few other bits, including the Christmas card made for my challenges for last Saturday and not put away yet.

As I still haven't finished organising and labelling, I thought I'd show you my pens:

I hope to return again next week and show some more of my craft room - in fact, I'd like to think that the sorting and labelling will be finished ... but I keep hoping that - lol!. Now I'm off to link this for WOYWW 424 and then have a look at what others have been up to - although I haven't got much time now as we have visitors coming, but I'll be back this evening.

  2. It is real crafting if you've made something, especially for charity! I understand though as I've just been making things that don't require any thought at all...haven't been inspired much recently. And WOW, those pens - what an amazing display!!

  3. Well if the rest of the sorting and labelling goes as well as those pens then no wonder it takes time. They look amazing and so easy to grab the one you want. Happy WOYWW Sarah #17

  4. Morning Hazel. It's so good to see you back on WOYWW these past couple of weeks. Of course it's real crafting - you made it... And as for sorting - well, that is some serious pen storage! The rest will happen, in time. Thanks for visiting, and for your comments. It was the first opportunity for me to have a craft stall for around 15years! So I was rather thrilled that folk liked what I had.
    Take care. God bless.

  7. Good luck with all that sorting!
I was at our local 'The Works' last week ... and was a wee bit disappointed. They seemed to have a lot less than usual in crafting essentials... and some of my usual must-have-in-my-stash items just weren't available any longer :( Still, I'm sure I can find other stuff in there to fill any small space I have left in the craftroom lol
    Have a great day! :)

  8. Lovely - that pen collection is just the reason I got into crafting, I so wanted to own this sort of colour spectrum! Labelling and sorting sounds less fun than making and colouring doesn't it, I would give yourself a very e l a s t I c deadline!

  18. Sorry I'm late to return your visit. I had to put away my quilts yesterday to do several urgently needed sewing jobs...i shortened an evening dress made 3 School Memory bears and shorten the sleeves on a gents suit jacket all left to the last minute and all needed for today! Thankfully I got it all done and can now catch up with my blogs.
I enjoyed the tennis too so can well understand your crafting and sorting having to wait. Hope it goes well.

  20. Organizing always takes more time than you think. If you're like me, I get in a groove and then find something that brings back memories - stop for awhile and reminisce and then go back to what I was doing. LOL Good luck! Dorlene #31

  23. I think everything looks very organized. I like your power strip on the wall, nice and handy. I have to crawl around on the floor and under thing to plug in my laptop over in my craft room. And such an impressive marker storage! Thank you for visiting my space earlier. #33
